After an almost year-long hiatus, Kanye West has returned to Twitter. And it seems he’s making up for lost time.
His Yeeziness has been tweeting with a vengeance, firing off 14 new tweets in the space of 24 hours (he’s also already deleted a couple).
As well as posting several snaps of sneaker designs, tattoo designs and, uh, NBA player Lamar Odom, Ye has also been using the platform to share some of his philosophical insights about the nature of our social reality.
Observe:
Some people have to work within the existing consciousness while some people can shift the consciousness

often people working with the existing consciousness are jealous of those who are more in touch and they become hard-core capitalist in hopes of creating the illusion that the value of money is worth more than the value of time and friends

It comes after the rapper announced that he was working on a new philosophy book.
“I’m writing a philosophy book right now called Break the Simulation,” West recently revealed. “And I’ve got this philosophy — or let’s say it’s just a concept because sometimes philosophy sounds too heavy-handed.
“I’ve got a concept about photographs, and I’m on the fence about photographs — about human beings being obsessed with photographs — because it takes you out of the now and transports you into the past or transports you into the future. It can be used to document, but a lot of times it overtakes [people]. People dwell too much in the memories. People always wanna hear the history of something, which is important, but I think it there’s too much of an importance put on history.”
While you wait for the philosophical gospel-according-to-Yeezy to arrive, you can tune in for more bite-sized nuggs of Kanye wisdom by following him on Twitter right here.
