Do you like good reggae music that gets you jumping?
The Part Time Regulars are a fun rock/reggae band from the Springfield area fronted by singer/guitarist Justin Calcasola. Fear Nuttin’s Chris Regan is also laying down thick bass grooves, and is joined by former Fear Nuttin’ drummer Matt Penza, and talented keyboardist Kevin Bias. These guys have their own sound, blending reggae sensibilities with both rock and pop covers and original material.
Justin has got a great voice, and does a hell of a job working the crowd and entertaining. He’s up there jumping and kicking in the air – determined to provide a great visual show as well as playing great tunes.
Right now the guys are working on an EP they plan to release in the fall. They’ve got another gig at Plan B at the Basketball Hall of Fame on June 26, and will be at Hoops and Hops in Simsbury CT on June 27.
