A Perfect Circle Booted More Than 60 Fans From Their Show For Taking Photos

12

Dozens of snap-happy douchelords have been turfed from A Perfect Circle‘s recent Pennsylvania gig for brazenly flouting the band’s strict “no photos” policy.

More than 60 smartphone-wielding delinquents were forcibly ejected from the venue for trying to snap a Kodak moment of notoriously camera-shy frontman Maynard James Keenan.

General manager of the Santander Arena & Performing Arts Centre where APC where performing –David Farrar — confirmed the news on Instagram, commenting on a post from one impudent punter who managed to steal a few sneaky shots of the band before getting The Boot.

“Your [sic] good. We tossed over 60 people last night for taking pics,” Farrar wrote, adding: “This was 110 percent the band’s policy and has been for Tool, APC, and Puscifer… it’s not a new policy.”

Every show on the band’s current North American arena tour has reportedly enforced a strict “no photos and videos” policy, with any potential rule-breakers threatened with banishment.

It comes after A Perfect Circle released their first song in 14 years, ‘The Doomed’, off their forthcoming new album.

Let’s hope they return to tour Australia soon.

We’ll even promise to leave our cameras at home.
