Laneway Festival Organisers Share ‘Dream Lineup’ Playlist

157

Laneway Festival organisers have shared a playlist of their ‘Dream Lineup’ and if it ever came true it would be one of the greatest lineups of all time.

The playlist features a diverse array of artists including Nick Cave, Kendrick Lamar, The Stone Roses, Radiohead, D’Angelo and heaps more.

It’s an incredible list although an impossible lineup given that a number of the acts have either passed away or no longer tour. A Tribe Called Quest embarked on one last would tour last year, Lou Reed’s died back in 2013 making a Velvet Underground appearance impossible and Sparklehorse’s Mark Linkous died in 2010.

That said, there are a number of artists that you could imagine gracing the Laneway stage in the future including Solange, who is still yet to tour A Seat At The Table in Australia, and Kate Tempest who toured here just last year.

Next year’s festival also features a pretty incredible group of artists including Mac DeMarco, Anderson .Paak and Wolf Alice. The best part is, it ain’t no dream.

Check out the full playlist below.
