After taking a summer concert season off, Dave Matthews Band is hitting the road this summer with several stops in New York. Coincident with the tour announcement comes news of a brand new album from the band. The untitled album comes six years after the band’s previous release in 2012, Away From The World, and does not yet have a set release date.
The summer tour kicks off May 18 in The Woodlands, TX and wraps Sept. 10 at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles. In between, the band will be making several stops in New York:
June 5 – Lakeview Amphitheater – Syracuse
June 27 – Darien Lake Performing Arts Center – Darien Center
July 13-14 – Saratoga Performing Arts Center – Saratoga Springs
July 17 – Nikon at Jones Beach – Wantagh
Aside from these New York dates, Dave Matthews Band will make other stops around the region in Connecticut, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey. Check out the full listing of tour dates at the Dave Matthews Band website.
General public ticket sales will go live Friday, Feb. 2 at 10 a.m. local time. Pre-sale tickets are available now to DMB Warehouse members at the Warehouse section of the band’s website. All tickets purchased before May 17 will receive a free copy of the new album.
