The Presets Announce New Album ‘HI VIZ’, Their First In Six Years

176

Aussie electro legends The Presets have revealed they will released their star-studded fourth studio album HI VIZ later this year, and they’ve just dropped a new track from it.

Julian Hamilton and Kim Moyes’ first Presets album since 2012’s Pacifica has already unveiled its lead single ‘Do What You Want’, and now the pair have unleashed the massive four-on-the-floor rhythms of ’14U+14ME’, complete with a mind-bending music video from New York production company Georgia.

While HI VIZ doesn’t have an exact release date just yet, we’ve been told to expect collaborations with the likes of Alison Wonderland, DMA’s, Touch Sensitive, DZ Deathrays’ Shane Parsons and Scissor Sisters’ Jake Shears.

Hamilton calls the album “an acid-soaked circle jerk of rave nuggets, cyber croons and pub techno”, which sounds about right.

Late last year, Hamilton’s bandmate Moyes spoke with Music Feeds contributor Cyclone Wehner about the pair’s “Kramer”-like return to the airwaves, as well as the “new tricks” they’ve got hiding up their sleeves.

Watch the video for ’14U+14ME’, below.
