Unique tributes to video games, Phish, Talking Heads and Pink Floyd were on display on April 21 at Putnam Place with Pink Talking Fish and Scott Hannay Plays Video Games. Taking themes from N64, Playstation and Gameboys games is no small feat, but Scott Hannay and his crew of Pat Nolan on bass, Rye Wylie (Capital Zen) on drums and Colin Shore (Mister F) on guitar made it seem effortless. The Pink Talking Fish crew did what they do best – segued seamlessly from jam to jam on classics from Pink Floyd, Talking Heads and Phish, with some Allman Brothers mixed in for good measure.
