System Of A Down’s Daron Malakian Drops New Song With Reformed Band Scars On Broadway

182

Daron Malakian, best known as the lead guitarist of the legendary System Of A Down, recently reformed his side project Scars On Broadway, and their monstrous first single ‘Lives’ is finally here.

It was announced only this month that the band — under new name ‘Daron Malakian and Scars On Broadway’ — would be reuniting, and ‘Lives’ serves as the first single from their new album Dictator, which will be out in July. The album follows up from the band’s self-titled debut album, which was released 10 years ago.

A portion of the proceeds from ‘Lives’ will be donated to Armenia Fund, to run the ‘Lives First Aid Kits’ campaign, supplying “life-saving first aid kits to villages in Artsakh that are under constant threat of sniper and mortar fire from Azerbaijan’s armed forces”.

You can watch the music video for ‘Lives’ below. Dictator will be released on Friday, 20th July.
