Skepta Announces 2018 Australian Headline Tour Dates

164

UK grime superstar Skepta (real name Joseph Junior Adenuga) has announced his long-awaited debut Australian headline tour dates, in conjunction with his headlining spot at this year’s Listen Out festival.

Alongside his sets at Listen Out, the MC will be performing two headline shows in Sydney and Melbourne this September. He’ll be shutting down The Forum in Melbourne on Wednesday, 26th September and will be giving the Sydney Opera House a wild party on Thursday, 27th September.

The last time Skepta played in Australia was on the New Year’s festival circuit in 2015/2016. He was scheduled to tour down under in a headline capacity in 2016, but had to cancel. That means these shows are his first headline dates in the country ever.

Skepta released his latest studio album Konnichiwa in 2016, and his latest mixtape The Tim Westwood Mix in 2015.
