In an interesting move by Spotify, the streaming service has plastered Drake‘s face across their entire homepage and there’s been some pretty heavy backlash.
The streaming service has used Drake as the cover for multiple, if not all, playlists on their homepage. Some of which, Pitchfork reports, don’t even include Drake – like ‘Independent Ladies’ and ‘Best of British.’

Naturally, fans and Spotify users are wondering what the hell is going on.
Dude why is @Drake on all my playlists, even Best of British. @Spotify bowing over for an artist like this is weak pic.twitter.com/y6VEARyOOD
