Amos Lee Performs On ‘Saturday Sessions’

219

Each Saturday, CBS This Morning presents a series of musical performances under the Saturday Sessions banner. This morning’s installment featured Amos Lee who stopped by the show’s Manhattan studio to perform a trio of songs from his recently releases album My New Moon.

Lee’s latest, which was produced by Tony Berg at Zeitgeist Studio in Los Angeles, is described as his “most personal collection, but his most politically outspoken as well.” The singer-songwriter, who kicked off a run of September dates on Friday night at New York City’s Beacon Theatre, offered up takes on “Dying White Light,” “Hang On, Hang On” and “No More Darkness” for the morning magazine show.
