Jason Isbell and The 400 Unit played a concert at the Peoria Civic Center Theatre in Peoria, Illinois Thursday night. The evening’s encore began with a cover of a classic Creedence Clearwater Revival song.

Thursday’s show came one day after Isbell & The 400 Unit won Duo/Group Of The Year, Song Of The Year and Album Of The Year at the 2018 Americana Honors & Awards. Thursday’s concert in Peoria featured several selections from the award-winning album The Nashville Sound, including the final song of the night, the award-winning “If We Were Vampires.”

The encore started with Isbell leading his band mates on a cover of CCR’s “Wrote a Song for Everyone.” The guitarist performed the track from the 1969 LP Green River at the Mercury Lounge in Nashville on Wednesday night as part of the Americana Fest Creedence Clearwater Revival tribute led by Instrumentalist of the Year nominee Jerry Pentecost.
