Jeff Tweedy Announces New Album ‘WARM’ & Shares Single

Jeff Tweedy will issue a studio album of all-new material entitled WARM via dBpm Records on November 30. The 11-track collection was recorded at Wilco‘s Chicago studio The Loft and features the singer-songwriter getting help from his son, drummer Spencer Tweedy, along with Wilco drummer Glenn Kotche and producer/engineer Tom Schick.

With the announcement of the follow-up to his 2017 solo debut Together At Last, Tweedy has also shared the liner notes for the album written by author George Saunders, which can be read in full at The New Yorker. Additionally, Tweedy also shared the album’s lead single “Some Birds,” about which he stated, “like a lot of songs on WARM, being a confrontation between self and shadow self simultaneously feeling I’m to blame and not to blame, present and gone, and utterly confused, but determined to hold someone accountable.” Watch the video for “Some Birds” below:
