Guitarist Kurt Vile will team with his band The Violators for a performance originating from New York’s Catskill Mountains on Thursday, September 13 at 1 p.m. ET. Pitchfork will broadcast the show live through its homepage, Facebook and YouTube channel.
Vile, Rob Laakso, Kyle Spence and Jesse Trbovich are expected to workshop songs from Kurt’s forthcoming Bottle It In record as well as “some KV classics” as part of the Pitchfork Live performance. The band will embark on an extensive world tour in support of Bottle It In, which is due on October 12 through Matador Records.
