Tonight, Dave Matthews Band concludes an extensive Summer Tour at the famed Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles. One of the highlights of the tour came on September 2, when DMB welcomed Preservation Hall Jazz Band for an extended version of “That Girl Is You” at The Gorge Amphitheatre in George, Washington. Videographer ChesterCopperpot5 combined 10 video sources and taper audio to create a supercut of the standout “That Girl Is You.”
Preservation Hall Jazz Band served as one of the opening acts for all three nights of Dave Matthews Band’s traditional Labor Day Weekend run at The Gorge. Ben Jaffe, Branden Lewis, Charlie Gabriel, Clint Maedgen, Kyle Roussel, Ronell Johnson and Walter Harris from the legendary New Orleans group emerged early in DMB’s September 2nd set to add Crescent City flair to “That Girl Is You.” Matthews & Co. released the studio version of the song back in June on Come Tomorrow and debuted the live version on May 26 in Atlanta.
