Pro-Shot Videos: Pigeons Playing Ping Pong Team With The Royal Horns At Peach Music Festival

115

One of the highlights of the first day of this summer’s The Peach Music Festival at Montage Mountain in Scranton, Pennsylvania was Pigeons Playing Ping Pong‘s set. The band shared professionally-shot video featuring a song from their standout July 19th performance.

After opening with “Whoopie” and “Porcupine,” PPPP were joined by The Marcus King Band‘s horn section for a rollicking rendition of the funk workout “F.U.” Guitarist/vocalist Greg Ormont told the audience Pigeons met The Marcus King Band earlier in the year aboard Jam Cruise and that the two groups immediately hit it off. Trumpeter Justin Johnson and saxophonist Dean Mitchell, a.k.a. The Royal Horns, fit perfectly into the mix throughout the extended “F.U.” Marcus King would emerge later in the set for “Lightning.”
