Rhino Records will celebrate “Rocktober” with a series of limited edition vinyl releases. Each Tuesday throughout October, Rhino will put out vinyl from the likes of the Grateful Dead, Alice Cooper, Black Sabbath, Dio, Faces and Television.
The first batch out on Tuesday, October 2 includes Dio’s Dream Evil and Lock Up The Wolves as well as the Grateful Dead’s Steal Your Face and Wake Of The Flood, Love’s Revisited, The Rutles’ self-titled LP, Television’s Marquee Moon and The Devil Wears Prada’s With Roots Above And Below Branches. Releases due Tuesday, October 9 are Dio’s Sacred Heart and Strange Highways, Faces’ Snakes & Ladders: The Best Of Faces plus the Dead’s Blues For Allah and From The Mars Hotel.
Rocktober ’18 rolls on Tuesday, October 16 with limited edition vinyl releases of Alice Cooper’s Alice Goes To Hell, From The Inside and Lace & Whiskey as well as Opeth’s Pale Communication and Sepultura’s Above The Remains Live ’89. Finally, Black Sabbath’s We Sold Our Soul For Rock ‘N’ Roll and a Hard Rocks Heretics compilation are due out on Tuesday, October 23.
