Tank and the Bangas shared a video for their new single entitled “Spaceships.” The track will appear on the group’s new album that’s due out in 2019.
The 2017 NPR Music Tiny Desk Contest winners issued their debut album, Think Tank, in 2013. Last year they issued the single “Quick” and earlier this year they put out the track “Smoke.Netflix.Chill.” The New Orleans-based quintet is led by vocalist Tarriona “Tank” Ball and also includes keyboardist/bassist Norman Spence, keyboardist Merell Burkett, drummer Joshua Johnson and saxophonist/flute player Albert Allenback.
