Tomorrow (Friday, September 7), the famed Apollo Theater in New York City will host Don’t Tell Me This Country Ain’t Got No Heart: A Benefit For Voter Participation featuring Phil Lesh and an impressive array of guests. If you can’t make it to the Apollo in person for Phil Lesh & Very Special Friends, there’s an option to watch from home or wherever you have an internet connection.
Relix will provide a free webcast of the concert live from the Apollo via YouTube. Lesh will be joined at the event by The Harlem Gospel Choir, The Terrapin Family Band, Nicki Bluhm, Eric Krasno, Talib Kweli and Robert Randolph. Proceeds will benefit HeadCount including the organization’s voter registration initiatives.
