Beastie Boys surviving members Michael “Mike D” Diamond and Adam “Ad-Rock” Horovitz appeared on Tuesday’s episode of CBS This Morning. The pair discussed their Beastie Boys Book memoir that was released today.
Diamond and Horovitz co-authored the 592-page autobiography about the pioneering hip-hop act that also included founding member Adam “MCA” Yauch who tragically died of cancer in May 2012 at the age of 47. Speaking to Anthony Mason, Diamond and Horovitz talked about their formative years, the loss of Yauch and more during the interview filmed in their old New York City neighborhood.
