On October 19, livetronica duo BoomBox will release a new album entitled Western Voodoo. JamBase is pleased to premiere the Western Voodoo single “Looking For A Sign.”
BoomBox features frontman Zion Rock Godchaux joined by DJ Harry. Western Voodoo is the outfit’s fifth album since forming in 2004. Godchaux said the record is “the most musically diverse album the band has ever released” and dubbed the style found on the 10-track record as “Dirty Disco Blues.” The musician is particularly excited to share the new single. “This is one of those tracks that’s been rolling around in the back seat for a while now. It’s kind of light, and kind of heavy at the same time,” Zion tells JamBase. “I’m thrilled that ‘Lookin’ is finally getting its day in the sun …” Stream “Looking For A Sign” below:
