Conor Oberst is the second artist to be featured on Amazon Music’s “Produced By” series. The singer-songwriter teamed with producer Simone Felice (The Lumineers, Bats For Lashes) to record a new version of “LAX.” Oberst orginally wrote the song for the Juliet, Naked Soundtrack.
The singer-songwriter recorded the updated take on the track at The Clubhouse in Rhinebeck, New York with the help of Phoebe Bridgers on vocals, James Felice on piano and David Baron on keyboards. “LAX” represents the first in a weeklong rollout of songs produced by Simone Felice, which is set to include music from The Felice Brothers, Phoebe Bridgers and Wesley Schultz of The Lumineers.
