Percussionist Marc Quinones recorded a version of The Allman Brothers Band classic “Midnight Rider” for a new video he produced with Tony Succar. Marc Quiñones is joined on the song and in the video by his longtime ABB band mates guitarist Derek Trucks and bassist Oteil Burbridge.
Quiñones handles all vocal and percussion parts in the tribute to the late Gregg Allman, who wrote the song with the help of roadie Robert Kim Payne for inclusion on The Allman Brothers Band’s 1970 album Idlewild South.
