It’s been a minute since we last heard some fresh tracks out of Dune Rats, but it looks like they’ve got something brewing with Goldfinger frontman and legendary producer John Feldmann.
Taking to Instagram earlier this morning, the band posted a photo of themselves with Feldmann and captioned it ‘Working hard or hardly working?’
It’s pretty bizarre in hindsight how we didn’t see the stars aligning to show us that this collaboration would be happening, but it makes total sense. Both Dune Rats and Goldfinger have made a name for themselves for wild, thrashing punk music with zero f*cks to give.
Dunies scoring Feldmann production is absolutely massive in and of itself, too. His previous production credits include Blink-182’s California, Panic! At The Disco’s Vices & Virtues, The Used’s Lies For The Liars, 5 Seconds Of Summer’s self-titled debut album and many, many, many more.
Dune Rats’ last album was 2017’s The Kids Will Know It’s Bullshit and Feldmann’s last album as part of Goldfinger’s was 2017’s The Knife.
