Foo Fighters Jam On Metallica With 10-Year-Old Fan


Foo Fighters brought their tour in support of last year’s Concrete & Gold to Kansas City, Missouri on Friday. After delivering a career-spanning set Dave Grohl invited a 10-year-old to play his guitar with them to start their encore. The young fan named Collier Cash Rule impressed the band by shredding on Metallica’s “Enter Sandman” and “Welcome Home (Sanitarium).”

Foo Fighters backed Rule as Grohl sang a portion of the Metallica classic before professing that’s all he knew. The Foos frontman asked the young guitarist if he knew any other songs. Collier then proceeded to play some of “Welcome Home (Sanitarium)” from Metallica’s Master Of Puppets. Grohl gifted his guitar to the youngster telling him, “If I see that shit on eBay next week, I’m gonna find you, Collier.” Watch fan-shot footage captured by Brian Gittings below:
