Jam Cruise 17 Announces Nightly Costume Themes

161

Jam Cruise 17 will take place from January 15th to 21st in 2019, returning to the Norwegian Jade for stops in Belize City, Belize, and Cozumel and Progreso, Mexico. This year, the beloved multi-day music cruise made serious waves in the jam community with its announcement that it would be expanding to six days and three port stops. With anticipation at an all-time high, today, Jam Cruise has announced three nights of its beloved costume themes for patrons aboard the boat.

Following last week’s announcement of its Jam Room hosts and special sets, today, Jam Cruise has announced three themes for 2019: All Nations Under A Groove, Green Eggs And Jam, and Pink Night. For All Nations Under A Groove, fans are encouraged to rep a culture or a country. As the announcement noted, “From Australia to Beijing, Scotland to Brazil we want to unite the world for the funk of it. Strut in that kimono, boogie down in your lederhosen or fan your feathers in true Rio Carnival fashion.” For Green Eggs And Jam, fans can channel their inner Dr. Seuss, getting whimsical and throwing it back to everyone’s favorite childhood author. Finally, each year, Jam Cruise hosts a special color night, where music lovers on the boat all don the same color. After this year’s Yellow Night, in 2019, patrons in pink will take over the boat for one night.
