My Morning Jacket frontman Jim James is the latest artist to participate in NPR Music’s Tiny Desk Concert video series. James performed a My Morning Jacket song followed by two cuts from solo albums at Bob Boilen’s desk in Washington D.C.
The three-song session begins with a gorgeous rendition of “I’m Amazed” from My Morning Jacket’s 2008 album Evil Urges. James then performs the timely “Same Old Lie,” which Jim recorded for 2016’s Eternally Even. The Louisville native ends the short set with “Over And Over” from his latest effort, Uniform Distortion.
