Next Friday, October 12, Kurt Vile will issue the studio album Bottle It In through Matador Records. Today, Vile shared the third single off the LP, “One Trick Ponies.”
The country-rock track features Vile on harmonica, guitar and piano. Kurt also harmonizes with Stella Mozgawa of Warpaint and Beachwood Sparks/Skiffle Players’ Farmer Dave Scher on the chorus. Bottle It In was recorded at studios in Los Angeles, Portland (Oregon), Brooklyn and Bridgeport (Connecticut) with producers Shawn Everett, Rob Laakso and Peter Katis.
