Kurt Vile & The Violators Perform Pitchfork Live Set

Kurt Vile and his band The Violators recently performed a live session for Pitchfork. The set featured the group “workshopping” some of the songs on the upcoming new studio album Bottle It In, which comes out on Matador Records on October 12. .

Vile and his band mates Rob Laakso, Kyle Spence and Jesse Trbovich gathered at a property in New York’s Catskill Mountains for their Pitchfork Live set. They worked their way through Bottle It In tracks “Loading Zones,” “Check Baby,” “Bassackwards,” “One Trick Ponies,” “Cold Was the Wind,” “Hysteria” and “Skinny Mini.” The live set ended with “Wakin on a Pretty Day” off 2013’s Wakin on a Pretty Daze.
