The new Fleetwood Mac lineup kicks off an extensive world tour on Wednesday night in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Guitarists Mike Campbell of The Heartbreakers and Crowded House’s Neil Finn have replaced Lindsey Buckingham and will join longtime members Mick Fleetwood, John McVie, Stevie Nicks and Christine McVie on the road. Campbell recently spoke with Rolling Stone about Tom Petty’s final days and what to expect from Fleetwood Mac’s upcoming tour. The founding member of The Heartbreakers revealed a few spoilers about some of the songs Fleetwood Mac will play.

It appears Fleetwood Mac will cover Tom Petty’s “Free Fallin’” over the course of the tour thanks to Stevie Nicks. “Stevie wanted to do that one,” Campbell told Rolling Stone. “I love that song, but I’ve just played it so much. I said to her, ‘Do we have to?’ She said, ‘The crowd will love it. It’ll be a moment.’ So I’m getting into it again.” The guitarist also confirmed Fleetwood Mac are prepping a rendition of Crowded House’s “Don’t Dream It’s Over” and that he will sing the pre-Buckingham/Nicks hit “Oh Well.” Head to Rolling Stone for more from Mike Campbell about his decision to join Fleetwood Mac, the grief he feels over Petty’s loss and more.
