A full slate of releases that will only be available at independent record stores on Friday, November 23rd has been announced by the organizers of Record Store Day. Phish‘s Slip Stich & Pass 1997 live album will be issued on vinyl for the first time as part of RSD’s Black Friday offerings.
Slip Stitch & Pass is Phish’s second live album and was originally released on October 28, 1997. The LP contains highlights from the quartet’s March 1, 1997 performance at the Markthalle in Hamburg. Phish had previously announced plans to sell Slip, Stitch & Pass on vinyl during their Curveball festival but the event was canceled. The Record Store Day Black Friday release of the album is coming on double two-color splatter vinyl with 6,000 copies up for sale.
