Singer-songwriter Rayland Baxter recorded a cover of The Kinks’ gem “Strangers.” Baxter’s version of the song is part of his Spotify Singles installment.
Rayland Baxter and his band laid down a live rendition of “Strangers” as well as “Casanova,” a single from his recently released album Wide Awake. The music on Wide Awake has been described as “Kinks-ian,” making the song off The Kinks’ 1970 studio LP Lola Versus Powerman and the Moneygoround, Part One a nice fit.
