Rockers Smashing Pumpkins will celebrate their 30th anniversary with a series of seven tour dates later this year. The band added six performances around a previously announced hometown show at the Aragon Ballroom in Chicago on November 30.
The current Smashing Pumpkins lineup features original members Billy Corgan, James Iha and Jimmy Chamberlin as well as longtime guitarist Jeff Schroeder. Up first for the short run is a performance at The Sylvee in Madison, Wisconsin on November 28. The band follows the Chicago show with visits to St. Louis, Tulsa, San Antonio, Tucson and Phoenix. While the concert in Chicago is sold out, tickets for the rest of the tour go on sale this Friday, October 5.
