The Smashing Pumpkins are gearing up to release Shiny And Oh So Bright, Vol. 1 / LP: No Past. No Future, the band’s tenth studio album, due out on November 16th via Napalm Records. The eight-track, Rick Rubin-produced project will mark founding members Billy Corgan, James Iha, and Jimmy Chamberlin‘s first album together in nearly two decades. Founding bassist D’arcy Wretzky is the only original member who does not appear on the new studio effort. So far, the band has released two singles, “Silvery Sometimes (Ghosts)” and “Solara”, from the upcoming album. Today, The Smashing Pumpkins have shared the visual counterparty to “Silvery Sometimes (Ghosts)”.
The video for “Silvery Sometimes (Ghosts)” was directed and written by frontman Billy Corgan. Taking place during a “Haunted House Challenge”, the video finds the bandmembers spooked during an overnight radio promotion with Z109’s host Mark McGrath (Sugar Ray).
