Spotify Updates Mobile Apps For Subscribers

199

Spotify Premium users may have noticed a new look to their iOS or Android apps today. The streaming service refreshed the apps, with updates starting to roll out today, in an effort to give subscribers a more “personal and intuitive experience.”

One of the biggest changes is a streamlined navigation. “Home,” “Search” and “Your Library” are now the three options on the menu bar as “Browse” and “Radio” have been jettisoned. “Subscribers can get great recommendations on Home, discover something new with Search, and access favorite songs, artists, playlists, and podcasts in Your Library,” reads a note from Spotify. Additionally, the search page has been redesigned to help users “easily discover the music that best reflects them and their mood.” Finally, a new “Endless Artist Radio” feature enables subscribers to access infinite playlists based on one of their favorite songs or musical acts. These playlists will be updated regularly and are downloadable for offline listening.
