St. Vincent returned to Austin City Limits to perform as part of the long-running live concert series’ 44th season. The season premiere episode included songs from guitarist Annie Clark’s latest album, Masseduction, alongside other selections from the St. Vincent catalog.
Clark, a Texas-native, made her ACL debut in 2009. Her return appearance featured bassist Toko Yasuda, keyboardist Daniel Mintseris and drummer Matthew Johnson during the 13-song set. On Saturday, St. Vincent will perform in Austin at the second weekend of the Austin City Limits Music Festival — one day after the release of a stripped-down version of Masseduction called MassEducation.
