Brooklyn-based funk act Turkuaz detailed their first tour of 2019. The band will support the recently released Life In The City LP with a series of early-2019 dates in which they will focus on the West Coast.
Turkuaz launches the tour at George’s Majestic Lounge in Fayetteville, Arkansas on January 23. Next up is a swing through Texas including stops in Dallas, Austin and Houston before the group hits Tucson and Phoenix. From there, the nine-piece visits the California cities of Solana Beach, Los Angeles and San Francisco. Turkuaz then heads to the Pacific Northwest for performances in Ashland, Bend, Eugene, Portland, Seattle, Bellingham, Missoula and Bozeman. A pair of shows in Colorado at Frisco’s 10 Mile Music Hall on February 15 and Denver’s Ogden Theatre on February 16 are currently scheduled to bring the tour to a close. Tickets go on sale to the public this Friday, October 5 at 10 a.m. local times.
