Will Ferrell added more cowbell to Coldplay frontman Chris Martin’s set at a charity event at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles this weekend. Ferrell emerged during Martin’s solo acoustic rendition of “Viva La Vida.”
Saturday’s all-star comedy/concert event was dubbed Will Ferrell’s Best Night of Your Life and was a benefit for College For Cancer. In addition to Martin, other participating musicians included Red Hot Chilli Peppers’ drummer (and Ferrell doppelganger) Chad Smith leading the Super Mega Funktastic Jam Rock All Stars made up of Mike McCready of Pearl Jam, Duff McKagan of Guns N’ Roses, Stefan Lessard of Dave Matthews Band, as well as Brad Paisley and RHCP’s Josh Klinghoffer.
