Willie Nelson performed his new song “Vote ‘Em Out” on Tuesday’s episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live. The outlaw country legend also played the standard “Fly Me To Moon” during last night’s appearance.
Nelson recently issued the album My Way featuring his takes on Great American Songbook classics made famous by Frank Sinatra, including “Fly Me To The Moon.” The 85-year-old debuted “Vote ‘Em Out” during a recent rally for Democratic Texas Senate candidate Beto O’Rourke. Willie was backed by his Family Band featuring his sister Bobbie Nelson on piano, and his sons Micah Nelson on drums and Lukas Nelson on guitar. Longtime collaborator Mickey Raphael also played harmonica, watch below:
