ALO Announces Tour d’Amour 2019

129

A tradition will continue early in 2019 when ALO embarks on their 13th annual Tour d’Amour. Each year, the band celebrates love in its many forms with shows surrounding Valentine’s Day with the Tour d’Amour run. Once again, drummer Ezra Lipp will be behind the kit as original ALO drummer Dave Brogan deals with family obligations.

ALO begins Tour d’Amour XIII with a series of February shows in California starting at Humbrews in Arcata on February 7. Horseshoes and Hand Grenades will open in Arcata as well as in Chico, Sacramento, San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara, Los Angeles and Solana Beach. The quartet returns to The Fillmore in San Francisco for evening shows on February 22 and 23 as well as a Kids Matinee on the 22nd. Horseshoes & Hand Grenades open on the night of February 22, while Tea Leaf Green kicks off the action on the night of February 23.

The California-based band ends next year’s Tour d’Amour with a Pacific Northwest run in March. ALO plays WOW Hall in Eugene on March 14, Wonder Ballroom in Portland on March 15 and The Crocodile in Seattle on March 16. Scott Pemberton Band opens for ALO in the Pacific Northwest. Tickets for all shows go on sale this Friday, November 30 at 10 a.m. PT.
