Dido announced her first tour dates in 15 years in support of her upcoming new album Still On My Mind. The record is due on March 8 via BMG and features the lead single “Hurricanes.”
Dido’s fifth studio album is her first since the release of Girl Who Got Away in 2013. Her regular collaborator and brother Rollo produced Still On My Mind, which was written and recorded in England.
“It was simple, I only wanted to make another album if it was with [Rollo],” Dido stated. “It was made in such an easy way, all the vocals recorded on the sofa, a lot of it recorded at home. I wanted to capture the feeling I still get from listening to music, just that rush like you don’t need anything more than this.”
Dido will tour in support of the new record next May in Europe followed by a North American Tour in June. Stream “Hurricanes” below:
