Frenzal Rhomb have announced the “DOWNLOAD SIDESHOWS NO ONE WAS PARTICULARLY WAITING FOR!”
The Aussie punk veterans have slipped us the details a trio of headlining dates around their performance at Download Festival 2019 in Sydney and Melbourne.
They’ll be bringing some side action to fans in Adelaide, Perth and Fremantle next February, including a performance at Perth’s Friends n’ All Festival.
“Download Festival Australia hits Melbourne and Sydney next March, and while heavy music fans Australia-wide wait for the international headliners to announce gigs near them, Australia’s punk rock also-rans Frenzal Rhomb have inexplicably decided to play some shows in Adelaide, Perth and Fremantle, to near-universal exclamations of ‘why?’ and ‘what about Alice In Chains?’,” the band write on Facebook.
“Greg from Subiaco, wearing a Ghost shirt and reportedly fighting back tears said he’d probably go but ‘only coz Jay Frenzal kind of looks like Papa Emeritus II except with sick dreads’.”
