Locked in for Falls Festival 2018/18, JUICE WRLD have today announced they will also be playing Sydney and Melbourne headline shows this January.
For those unfamiliar JUICE is 19-year-old Chicago artist Jarad Higgins. He released debut album Goodbye & Good Riddance in May this year and since then he’s proven himself a formidable presence, even knocking genre heavies Drake and Kanye West from top spots on the Spotify charts.
JUICE WRLD’s breakthrough success came with 2017’s Lucid Dreams. Since then the numbers have been on his side, he’s clocked in over a billion streams worldwide. Higgins has also collaborated with Lil Uzi Vert, Future, Young Thug and Lil Wayne.
“I like all types of music. It could change up so quickly,” Jarad shares, reflecting on the magpie mentality of his genre-defying sound, “I could be listening to Foo Fighters and then switch up and turn on my favourite Sosa mixtape.”
Supporting JUICE for both shows will be Syndey’s own The Kid Laroi. The 14-year-old MC earned praise this year after landing a place as one of the top five finalists in triple j Unearthed’s 2018 Unearthed High competition.
