Leftover Salmon Honors Allman Brothers Band On Halloween In Frisco: Full Show Audio

158

The members of Leftover Salmon dressed up as the members of The Allman Brothers Band both literally and musically at the 10 Mile Music Hall in Frisco, Colorado on Halloween. An audience recording of LoS’ Allman Brothers Halloween show has surfaced and can be streamed below.

Leftover Salmon opened the way many Allman Brothers Band shows did, with “Statesboro Blues.” The band then treated fans to a bevy of classics from the ABB live repertoire over the course of the first set including “Ramblin’ Man,” “In Memory Of Elizabeth Reed,” “Dreams” and “You Don’t Love Me.” While Salmon put the focus on their own material to start the second set, they ended the night with covers of “Melissa” and “Whipping Post.” LoS helped fill out their sound on Halloween by enlisting Tony Mason as a second drummer for the evening.
