Nathaniel Rateliff, Marco Benevento, My Morning Jacket members Patrick Hallahan and Tom Blankenship and others will come together for a concert honoring the late Richard Swift. The all-star A Tribute To Richard Swift event takes place December 9 at Rough Trade NYC in Brooklyn, New York.
Additional participants include Hamilton Leithauser, Cults, Valerie June, Jessie Baylin, Sam Cohen, Eric Slick, Deep Sea Diver and Elizabeth Ziman. There will also be a DJ set by Leon Michels. Tickets are available on November 12.
Richard Swift died earlier this year at the age of 41 in his home in Tacoma, Washington. During his career, Swift was a successful singer-songwriter and producer and talented musician. Along with his solo work, Swift’s spent time as a member of The Shins, was a touring member with The Black Keys, was part of Dan Auerbach’s project The Arcs.
