Jam titans Phish will release The Baker’s Dozen: Live At Madison Square Garden featuring audio from their 2017 13-show residency at Madison Square Garden in New York City on November 30. The collection will be available in multiple formats including a box set containing every note played during the run as well as 6-LP and 3-CD sets. The quartet chose Elliot Scheiner to remix audio from the residency and have unveiled video of a highlight from run featuring the newly remixed audio.
Each Baker’s Dozen performance had its own theme. The theme on July 28, 2017 was Double Chocolate. Phish’s Double Chocolate show featured an adventurous “Chalk Dust Torture” that spanned over 24 minutes and still stands as one of the best versions of the song in the band’s history. The foursome chose the “Chalk Dust” as one of 13 tracks from the run to make the 3-CD and 6-LP set. Watch 24+ stellar minutes of Phish from the forthcoming set:
