Tassie singer-songwriter Maddy Jane has transported us back to our childhood in the wacky new video for her fresh indie-pop-rock bop, ‘The Other Day’.
Directed by Matt Wallace and produced by Lawrence Phelan (LP Creative), the endearingly kooky visuals for the clip channel Hi-5 and Play School in a fabulous tribute to classic Aussie kids’ TV.
“I was just thinking about how this song would be best portrayed and how sarcastic and accepting it is of the situation,” Maddy explains.
“I used to love Hi-5 and thought how good would it be to make our own children’s show to nail that light-heartedness and irony. Always been a dream to do something like this and ‘The Other Day’ was the perfect time to do something a little wacky and nostalgic.”
