Sydney trio Glades have made their triple j Like A Version debut with a dreamy cover of Silverchair‘s 2007 hit single ‘Straight Lines’.
The second-last Like A Version of ABC‘s Ausmusic Month saw Glades use their indie pop and electronica talents to turn ‘Straight Lines’ into something which might not sit too well with Silverchair purists, but is definitely a brave and unique take on one of the band’s biggest hits.
While in the triple j studios, Glades also performed their original song ‘Eyes Wide Shut’, from their debut album To Love You. Watch both performances in full, below.
Glades will embark on a national tour this weekend.
