Slayer have announced two headline shows to go along with their upcoming appearances at Download Festival Australia 2019.
The Download lineup was announced just a few months ago, and fans rejoiced at news of Slayer including Australia in their final world tour.
Now we have two extra dates, with a headline show at Brisbane’s Riverstage and another at Adelaide’s Entertainment Centre, taking place in March.
The thrash icons will be bringing Anthrax and Behemoth — who also both appear on the Download bill — with them as support acts.

Slayer released their last album Repentless back in 2015, and had their last Australian appearance at Soundwave Festival back in 2013.
UPDATE: Slayer have now deleted their Facebook post announcing their Australian headline shows, after the post remained online for two hours.
