The world is still reeling from the announcement of the highly-overdue Spice Girls UK reunion tour – and potential world tour to follow – and no-one is more excited than Adele.
The singing superstar has been very vocal about how much she loved the Spice Girls growing up, and she shared this hilarious throwback in celebration of the internet-breaking announcement.
Of course, Victoria Beckham has announced that she’ll be not be reprising Posh Spice and joining the group on tour, but people are now rallying for Adele to replace her. Emma Bunton reposted Adele’s image and fans have lost it.
“ADELE FOR VICTORIA BECKHAM !!!!!!” one fan wrote.
“Great she could be the 5th member to replace posh or at least get her to do a guest appearance would be amazing,” wrote another fan.
The Spice Girls have been very vocal about their love of Adele in the past, so we’ll see if these wishes become reality. In the meantime, we’ll be watch Adele’s rendition of the rap from ‘Wannabe’ on repeat.
